BUTANDING FESTIVAL
(Donsol Sorsogon, March 13-15)

The festival ushers the "Butanding" (whaleshark season) and a thanksgiving for the blessings that it gives to the people of Donsol. The festival is highlighted by a street parade.

 PADARAW FESTIVAL
(Bulan Sorsogon, May 30)

The festival showcases the colorful costumes fashioned from the abaca fiber. It is highlighted by a grand street presentation wherein the participants are clad in colorful costumes using the abaca fibers.

 PILI FESTIVAL
(Sorsogon City, June 20-29)

The festival showcases the Pili, an indigenous crop of Bicol Region. The primary purpose of the festival is to emphasize the importance of Pili and to increase public awareness on its various economic uses. The festival's highlight is the street dance presentation.

 HIN-AY FESTIVAL
(Irosin Sorsogon, September 28-29)

The festival is a commemoration of the feast day of the town's Patron Saint, St Michael the Archangel and at the same time a rediscovery of the town's cultural heritage. The festival traces the struggles of the people of Irosin at various stages of its history and aims to renew the enthusiasm and faith among people for sustained involvement in community building. Mardi Gras, cultural show, food festival and agro-trade fair are some of the activities in the town's celebration.

 KASANGGAYAHAN FESTIVAL
(Sorsogon City, October 17-27)

The festival was derived from the local dialect which means prosperity and happiness. The festivities are held as a joint effort of the Sorsogon Provincial Tourism Council and the Provincial Government of Sorsogon. The celebration is primarily held to commemorate the foundation anniversary of Sorsogon since its establishment as a separate province from Albay.
